"I enjoyed all of the action, the adventure, the fantasies. It grabbed my attention and did not let go. There are passages in the book that I think may be geared more to
adults than children.
In all, for the inner child in me, it was enjoyable reading." -
Daniel Mendoza de Arce, PhD, Law

Recognised by The Texas Hispanic Magazine as one of the 50 most influential women of the state of Texas.

In the early 60's Ms Alcozer's family moved to Chicago's tumultuous West Side after her father had been hired to work as maintenance engineer of a 40 unit building complex. During that time, the family was thrown front and center of some of the worst race riots in Chicago's history.
Ms. Alcozer has received a Certificate of Recognition In the Arts, and a Mayoral Poetry Award from the Honorable Mayor Richard J. Daley, Office of The City of Chicago. She has been featured in Harvard University's magazine. Paris' Bibliothèque nationale de France has noted her work as an exceptional reference in the studies of Humanities and Hispanic Studies. Her work has also aired on BBC RADIO and remains archived at the National Poetry Library at Southbank Centre, London.
In 1993 Ms. Alcozer immigrated to Europe, where she worked in
television and radio as a contributing writer and host.
Throughout the years she's continued to work internationally
contributing her work for various literary causes and has
presided as an essay judge for the Chicago
